EARTH 2050

FUN

After the sun died out, many aspects of fun and entertainment changed. First of all, it became a lot harder to shoot movies and tv shows because of the lack of sun and light. So, most movies and tv shows were shot inside and fewer adventure movies and more animated movies were made. Many sports were also in trouble because of the lack of light and presence of snow on the ground. Domes had to be built over all baseball, football, and soccer stadiums so that the athletes could play. Water sports perished though. However, snowboard shops saw a great profit as snowboarding, skiing and ice skating became the most popular sports in the world.

New common hobbies icluded these sports. Hobbies for many smaller kids though included building snowmen and making snow angels. In some places, annual snowmen building contests and snow angel making contests are held. Other than these hobbies, most of the hobbies are the same as before. People still like to read and play video games and hang out with their friends.

One thing that changed a great deal though was art, literature, and music. These things all became more sad and depressing for quite a while. They brought back memories of the beautiful light and all of the color and liveliness that it brought. However, for the most part, things returned to normal after a while. People were finally able to see the beauty in what they had been given and were able to accept it.
