EARTH 2050

THE COLD

The loss of the sun had a drastic effect on everything, especially people. Nothing this drastic had ever happened before, so many people were caught unawares and weren't prepared for such a catastrophe. The frigid cold killed many people, mostly those that had been along the equator. Those that did not die from the cold then had to face sickness and malnutrition until the economy got back on it's feet. Many people also simply couldn't take the idea of the sun being gone, and they became mentally ill. By 2015, the population was half of what it had been before 2010. However, the people of Earth in 2050 have since adapted to this cold weather physically and have also adapted the environment to help them out.
